Carolina Landea Carolina Landea Chile, (1960-) Carolina Landea was born in Santiago, Chile and spent part of her childhood and adolescence in Spain, where she began Training in the art world, when she was a student of José Luis Aspalon, a professor at the San Fernando Academy in Madrid. After returning to Chile, she continued her studies with Reinaldo Villasenor and Edwardo Vilches. Looking at her work, it's no surprise that Carolina came from a famous family of artists. Her grandfather, Pablo Burchard, was one of the most prominent Chilean artists of the early 19th century. Her mother, Cuca Burchard, was known for her innocent paintings, while her brother Gonzalo and sister Maria Luisa were very successful in their respective fields of work.
